With its coming of age story line  Patricia J. DeLois portrays a young girl’s first sexual encounter with vivid and accurate details.  She then reveals the strength it takes for a young lady to survive in a dysfunctional home.  Bufflehead Sisters was a humorous novel laced with explicit sexual content.  This book is a recommended read for those who enjoy the bonds of friendship and the love of family.
