Dr. Seuss’ There’s A Wocket In My Pocket

theresawocketinmypocket

In this classic book, Dr. Seuss uses rhyming couplets and nonsensical situations to engage children, and adults, into an adventurous read.  Children learn the value of poetic license by made up words that rhyme with existing words to create a unique story.  In the meantime, adults are given a fun way to read to their children.

There’s A Wocket In My Pocket has been a favorite of mine since I was a child.  I found myself reading it aloud on multiple occasions.  If you haven’t picked up a Seuss book, please do so!  You will enjoy every word!
