In elementary school, I made my first appearance in the local newspaper… twice! Both were class field trips. In one class, we had built birdhouses that were placed in local farms and nature preserves.
I enjoy bird watching. There is a large tree outside my office window where I can watch the variety of birds come in and feed from my bird feeders. I especially love to watch the hummingbirds, blue jays, and cardinals come to visit.
