What’s Next?

What an amazing first month for the launch of Grandfather’s Whispers.  And I have you, my readers, to thank for your kindness and support.  Things are looking positive as I move forward with my writing career.  I have lots of stories to share, and I am excited to get them in stores and on bookshelves for readers like you.

Now let’s break down the numbers. In August, I sold 85 books online (2 in Italy and 1 in UK), 28 books in person, and I gave away 45 books to Advanced Readers and Goodreads Giveaway recipients. That’s a total of 158 books of Grandfather’s Whispers in the hands of readers domestically and internationally by the first month of its release. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and thirst for a good read!

Looking ahead, I am booking more events. Check in often on my Facebook page or website for further details as with some of these events I only receive confirmation just weeks prior to the event.  I have confirmed two events so far, one in October and one in November.  You can find more details in the Events section of this website.

I am now nose deep in the first book of The Snow Chronicles series which is titled Ashes of Winter.  I am doing a read through to refresh my memory as to what I have written and edited so far, and what developmental edits I will need to accomplish.  I know that I have to rewrite 3 scenes, but I must spend some considerable amount of time in thought for those scenes, as well. I am very excited about this series and can’t wait for the day when I get to finally share all of the fun details.  Crossing my fingers for a 2026 publication, if not sooner!
