It has been a whirlwind of activity in the Elliott household these last couple of months. True to spirit, life just takes over, and we have to force ourselves to pause, rest, and reflect. Needless to say, I have picked up the fine art of watercolor to help me slow down, regroup, and sort out my priorities. Because, let’s face it, nothing is worth sacrificing who you are and who you want to be. I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, and a creative. Yes, I have all of these other hats that I wear, too. But, beyond that, nothing shines brighter in my world than my family and my creativity.
On the writing forefront, I had been working closely with the beautiful voice of Carol Beth Anderson as she narrated Grandfather’s Whispers into audiobook format. If you haven’t heard Beth’s works yet, CLICK HERE to listen to her samples. Beth’s talent extends beyond the pages and gives you a glimpse into the make-believe realm by engaging your sense of sound. She fully engulfs you into the character’s nuances and makes you feel an array of emotions. I may be partial to my own book, but Beth has made me laugh and cry in sections of the book where I had never felt such strong emotions. I would catch myself smile in warm-hearted and comforted scenes; or my teeth clench during intense moments. Beth is by far one of the most talented actors I have ever met.
Therefore, we make the exciting announcement of Grandfather’s Whispers Audiobook release. It is now available for purchase exclusively on Audible. We ask that when you get the opportunity to listen to the book, please remember to leave a review on Audible. Carol Beth Anderson and I would love to hear your thoughts about your experience with this audio production.
